My family loves ordering from Ono Hawaiian BBQ, especially for special gatherings like Father's Day and Mother's Day. Their food is always a hit and makes every celebration feel even more special. Some of our favorites are the Hawaiian BBQ Beef, Teriyaki Chicken, Chicken Katsu, and the Kalbi Short Ribs. Every dish is packed with bold, delicious flavors, and you can really taste the care they put into preparing their food. The meats are perfectly seasoned, tender, and cooked to perfection--it's impossible to pick just one favorite! One of these days, I'm hoping my sisters remember to order the Kalua Pork for me. I always ask for it, but somehow it never makes the list!

Maybe it's a fluke, a good co-incident. I picked up my order and everything looked really good. Short ribs seemed to be meaty. Well at least one out of two. Is it the timing? Went at 3 pm when they were not busy. I saw the online order coupon for buying $30 and you get $10 off. That is 33% if you order exactly $30. It must be online, which is better. You do it before you get out of the house. I ordered bbq combo which comes with short rib, bbq beef, and bbq chicken. I get a scissor and cut up the meat. Easy to eat. Did you know you get to pick how many scoops of macaroni or rice or steamed veggie. I get 2 scoops of macaroni. I got a combo of white fish and lemon pepper chicken, which comes with their salad and plenty of rice. I really like their salad dressing (Shredded lettuce with edamane). I would have have gotten Hawaiian Sun soda, next time. The lady putting the order together is so efficient. They really work well together. Saw the Wing Stop employee come in and seem to know them. All the food was only $24 after $10 off. I added 50 cents for certain things. Code 10HBBX till 1.21.25.

More of a love and hate with these places, love that there plentiful locations service is very fast and efficient and there bbq meats aren't over cooked. Hate is one fat employee lol let's just leave at that.

Your classic Ono experience located in a nice shopping plaza with surprisingly large amount of parking spots. The inside is quite small and not designed to host large parties that are dining in, so would recommend this as a convenient take-out option located along the edge of SF!

I was driving one day on an empty stomach and asked Siri to search for restaurants near me, and Ono Hawaiian BBQ popped up, so I decided to stop for an emergency dinner. Oh my, I ordered the chicken combo plate with BBQ chicken, chicken Katsu, white rice, steamed cabbage, broccoli, and macaroni salad. It was so yummy that I have returned at least three more times since my first order from this location. My partner enjoyed the flavor of the chicken choices and portions; the service was fast, friendly, and orderly. The ambiance is of an island cabin kitchen until you look out the window and see cars pass by; I waited for about 10 minutes, before leaving worh my order, the food was cooked fresh and hot right out of my to-go box. Me and my partner enjoy these meals. Five stars

We came here for the June 2024 island spice lunch which was $9.99. They raised the price from $7. And there is less food. Two scoops of white rice, one scoop of max salas, some cabbage and broccoli. there were 4 pieces of spice fish but they werent that big. make sure to get teriyaki sauce to put over the rice.

Surprised that this place gets such a low rating. I really enjoyed the few meals I got here. All delicious! Especially like the macaroni salad. I also enjoyed the crab Rangoon. Location is a bit far from us but when we do visit, we all like their food.
